Corum, Jimmy DPT, COMT, Cert MDT, CIDN
Jimmy Corum is a native of Bell County, and a graduate of Bell County High School and the University of Kentucky. Jimmy then attended the University of Kentucky’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program, where he graduated in 2010. For the last 11 years, he has worked as a physical therapist in Middlesboro, KY. He is deeply committed to giving back to the Appalachian region that is home. Jimmy loves this community and the people who live here, and strives to provide treatment that not only meets, but exceeds the healthcare offered anywhere in the US.
Many years have been spent perfecting his diagnostic and treatment skills for any and all orthopedic conditions. Currently he is one of only a handful physical therapists in KY, TN, VA and beyond that have been able to achieve certifications in orthopedic manual therapy (COMT), manual diagnosis and treatment (Cert MDT), Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT) and advanced integrative dry needling (CIDN). He feels this sets him apart when it comes to providing accurate diagnoses and treatment selection, to allow better and faster outcomes for his patients.
Jimmy has a wealth of knowledge from his more than 10 years of experience in the outpatient setting, and specializes in the treatment of any and all musculoskeletal conditions of the body, some of which include: every joint and part of the spine, as well as conditions relating to the body’s nerves, muscles, tendons and ligaments. He treats trauma and injuries which have just occurred, as well as those that have been going on for years.
